American secretary of state Condolezza Rice is coming to Auckland tommorow for a meeting with Helen clark and other New Zealand government officals.

So naturally the dickheads over at the Auckland University Student Association (AUSA) have had a completely stupid idea for a dumbass anti establishment stunt that any Auckland Uni student can take part in. They are offering $5000 to whoever puts a citizen's arrest on Dr Rice.

Honestly I hope the shitheads from AUSA try. It'd be fucking hilarious.
Even if you manage to get through a gap in the police's security (the police are armed for this event btw) then your guaranteed a less than fun appointment with the US special forces guarding her.
Which is the really great bit. They will shoot more than dead anyone who comes closer to her than the polices perimeter.

Bodyguards for VIPs at this level are choosen to be ruthless. When an assasination was attempted on Afghan president Hamid Karzai, US special forces wasted the would be assasin and a man who tackled him, on the spot.
They're trained to not hesitate as that could lead to the death of their charge.

Maybe AUSA are actually on to something. Auckland will have one less stupid asshole. Unless they try a whole lot at once. Then there will be a few less stupid assholes.

In other news we have one of those "once in ten years" storms coming in tommorow. So if my painting isn't up to submit by next monday I'm either dead or washed up on the shore of our less civilised neighbor's who probably dosen't have fancy things like internet.
