Helen Clark invented water.

Tue Apr 22, 2008, 12:26 AM
In a recent interview with magazine (yeah, really inventive title) Hillary clinton was asked to tell a joke:
"Here's a good one," she said. "Helen Clark, former prime minister of New Zealand: her opponents have observed that in the event of a nuclear war, the two things that will emerge from the rubble are the cockroaches and Helen Clark."
Which sounds like a Chuck Norris joke with Helen Clark replacing Mr Norris except...
The election is in october or so and in New Zealand a prime minister can keep being elected forever.
So shes not quite a former Prime Minister yet.
According to the Dominion post Helen Clark apparantly found it amusing and suggested Mrs Clinton should talk to her Husband:
"As a current prime minister I spoke with him as a former US president in London only two weeks ago."

Politicians aren't normaly funny when they try to be but its amusing how people can make comments like that and think no one will notice since they're in a better position of power.

What is hilarious is that Mrs Clinton said at some point that her parents named her after Edmund Hillary. Then it was pointed out to her that she was born more than five years before he scaled mount Everest.

On another topic: Man I hate racing games. I've been playing "Trackmania nations forever" on and off(instead of homework) for the last 3 days. Combined with the previous version its stolen at least 4 hours of my life. If you like racing games with crazy physics or super monkey ball then you might want to give it a go [link]
The game was made to promote Trackmania by getting more people to start playing competively since its a fee download and its set up just for crazy tracks.
Its freaking tedious crashing into walls and having to restart races which happens alot considering my driving skills. I don't know how people have the patience for sport and racing.
Nice for a quick blast though. Personally I'm trying to stay off and save up my free time for combat mission: shock force. The demo kicks ass. [link]
So far mainly just mine.

IGN and Gamespots reviews of it are about as shody as their reviews of wargames usually are. This time its mainly because the reviewed version is alreadg 6 versions old.

The New Zealand Army's artist is having an exhibition at the Auckland Museum starting 23rd April 2008 and going through to 20 July 2008.
Looking forward more to that more than I am to Children of Bodom coming here at the moment. >:]

Ew, Hillary. I hate the fact that most politicians just use that position of power to do the things they want and get away with it. I'm amazed she's even joking at all for one who can't even her campaign finances in order. So, if she gets presidency, our economy will forevr be down the shithole.:/

Hey, if ye got a Gamecube or a Wii, F-Zero GX is the final word on freakishly hard, blindingly fast, wicked-tracked racing games. Takes a little getting used to, but it's a blast when you find a car you like. :) Plus, it's about $15 here now.

Im not a big fan of Hillary.
Nor Obama really,
I prefer McCain mainly because the republicans support substantially lower taxes and for our family owned business that is critical.

anyway for games you should defiantly check out Call of Duty 4. I think that would be right up your ally. Guns and stuff. And interesting plot. Defiantly the best war game to date. And I say that against Halo and or any Clancy game bar none.

heh, just don't expect to beat story mode!! It's gotta be impossible do beat without any obscure flukes or figuring out how to "snake" (this cheat-menuever that messes with the physics system to make the car shoot like a rocket)
