Challanger 1 MBT on the main road to Pristina, serving with KFOR in Kosovo. There should be the King's Royal Hussars emblem emblazoned on the searchight cover but its a bit too zoomed out to see clearly(oh,right).
The perspective reminds me a bit of Kishimoto Masashi (He likes going for those crazy perspective high angle shots).
Brilliant perspective, and the shading to match. Fine level of detail in there to (i really like the guy walking beside the tank, really puts it into perspective jsut how big they are!) Super work man, ur worth keeping an eye on.
I don't have this kind of patience, I need to work on that.... if I may ask, do you work from photographs for these?

Yep I use photos. This ones from Special Ops Journal, Kosovo special. Sometimes I don't though. It helps to use them untill you have a very thorough knowledge of the vechile because knowing the small details and how they line up helps alot with proportioning(for me anyway).
I had to have a few breaks from this because it took so damn long (the whole afternoon).
Thanks alot.
The guy next to the tank gave me problems(his legs kept looking all screwed up) but I like how he turned out. I never had any idea how big Armored vechiles were untill I saw some of our LAVS on the road and their smaller than tanks. Still pretty damn big.
*nods* exactly the same for anatomy. Once you have things down in your mind, it is easier to see the form from different perspectives, which I need a lot more of because my pics are often action poses.
I see you are gaining an audience, very good!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
